Happy Father's Day to my family. You are the joy of my life.

I have some recent pictures of Dads and kids of some of you that caught my eye as I looked through my pictures. How blessed I am as a mom to have such wonderful sons and son in laws. As we celebrate your day, may you always enjoy those little ones and may Father's Day always be a GREAT DAY!

Garden and baseball

Time out for a little baseball. Halle, Lincoln, and Carson are the cutest! I just sit and laugh at how sweet and sincere they all are. And those ring pops make your tongue BLUE! Or Red or Green! Thanks grandma but maybe next time you could wait till after the team pictures! What fun it is to watch all these little ones play ball. Easton's games are a little more intense but just as fun to watch. I cant wait to get home from work to go to the games! It makes my days!

Let the Planting begin!

We are ready for the sunshine to help these seeds and seedlings grow! Right now it looks like a lot of dirt--just wait till it all pops up! May 21, 2010 Halle's cauliflower is up, Eastons corn, Lots of sunflowers all up, potatoes all around the fenceline, those big pumpkins are up and Lincoln's cucumbers are all up! Shaylees zuccine and Avery's squash is up. James has blossoms on his tomatoe plants and I saw a white pumpkin in Carson's plot! Yah Hoo , it's spring!

Let the planting begin!

Everyone has planted and with all the rain we are now seeing those little green leaves and sprouts poke their heads up through the ground. Halle's cauliflower is up, Shaylees zuccini, Easton's corn, Lincoln's cucumbers and lots more are coming up. Potatoes are up along the fence line, tomatoes are blossoming and big pumpkins are searching for the sun! Yah hoo, its spring!

Grow little seeds grow

Grandma Pam's Grandkids Garden Journal

It is almost spring and we are ready to plant Grandma's Grandkids Garden. This year brings new seeds, new ideas, and lots of excitement as we chose our seeds and staked out our plots! My backyard is divided up into 20 plots as our new little grandson will be born just in time for the harvest in October. We have everything from cauliflower to Atlantic Giant Pumpkins! I can't wait and the planting has gone well so far. We have peas coming up along with the potatoes along the fence. We all have visions of Gigantic Pumpkins, succulent watermelon, and GIANT sunflowers (hopefully Braden will win the school contest with his!). I have learned a few tricks to plant and fertilize so this year should be even better than last! Lots of miracle grow!

This blog will be a journal of the planting all the way to the harvest! I hope you all enjoy the ride! Everyones seeds sprouted in their cups so we should do at least that good in the ground!
